Aussie racers locked
I would just like to answer this thread and couldn't as it was locked.
As far as I know Aussie racers have no problems either with the majority of their customers or there racing this year. The poster of this thread is talking a load of ****. Please do not think that myself or anyone I am associated with would stoop to this sort of negative posting and I don't believe that any of the Futureracers staff would go this low either. Regards Guy Wilson Hybrid Motor Sports |

I like them. I think Phil Ward should have pushed the Commodore build forward to start at same time as Falcons. That might have created a bit more interest.

Last i heard there should be VY Commodores on the grid in Adelaide. Im sure Phil would have loved to have had them sooner but he has been that busy with current orders that its taken a while.

I heard there are no Commodores until well into the later part of the year?

Not a chance, 2 reasons...
1 - I just got into a new Falcon 2 - Im a ford man at heart(even though i drive a Subaru!) *flame suit on* And i will do whatever it takes, to stop anything that is affiliated with with a lesser brand like a Holden, from winning! Last edited by The Pressure !!; 3 Feb 2004 at 06:52. |

I can confirm I have actually been in the Factory and have seen the first VY commodore body and I hear it will be for the 2003 Champ Mike Russell and there were about 8 more being built plus a stack of Falcons at the time I was there.I was told there will be 2 Commodores at the Clipsal 500 but couldnt find out who will run the second car. I have also heard that Paul Kemal and Travis Edwards are part of the newly formed VIP Petfoods 2 car Aussie Racing Car team which should make for some even more exciting front running action.Klark Quinn used the class to great advantage and stepped up to Carrera Cup so I wonder if these guys will do the same.

Funny the teams and drivers can get all excited about the Ford versus Holden thing when the cars all run motorcycle engines from neither manufacturer

I think the racng in the class is fantastic GTR and having the new body shapes that are close to home makes it even better dont you think. It is better than having a Skoda or an NSU dont you think
