New Dodge??

the dodge car in the series is still called the Intrepid right?
they are now running a Stratus grill, and headlight stickers so how'd they do this switcheroo?
i noticed last year they started modifying the grill from the large crosshair pattern to the stratus style, now their is no hiding it. so what can ford do about it, as we know chevy has no option other than the Impala- which would work better i think.

It seemed like the different Dodge teams have different grill patterns last year and the Busch Dodge grills differed a little from the Cup cars. It might be preparation for when the Intrepid is replaced. This year is supposed to be the last year for the Intepid in the Dodge line. I'm not sure what the replacement will be, it seems like it will be the new Magnum. Not sure now they will change that car to make it acceptable to NASCAR.

I realize that this topic was started a long time ago, but it was related to what I'm about to post. Dodge will have a new car next season. It will be the new Charger. You can see it at the link to Jayski's site. I also attached a link for some more general info.

Will that get the approval? NASCAR version has much more rounded nose than the roadgoing Charger.

I'm sure it will be modified to provide the usual 'aero-equivalency', but I must say, the road-going version looks like one sweet machine.
