Does anyone know of any test days (not track days) in the South over the next few months ?

I need to test my car, but I'm not too keen on having a load of hooligans in their jap **** thrashing round my ears while Im doing it

thanks

Silverstone has them most Fridays
Mallory has them every Wednesday morning
Brands Im not sure about, but you would phone them to ask.

Zefarelly - my experience of testing at Brands has been bad. I love the circuit but the delays are so bad when they sessions are stopped for car recovery that you end up getting very little track time. Although I don't like the circuit so much, Silverstone is far better for testing as they don't alweays stop the sessions for an off and they don't seem to get so many offs. Mallory is very good on the 750 club day. (26th Feb)

Ah Goodwood, what a super circuit, used to test there in the middle/late 1980's when it cost a whole £18 a day, I imagine that with inflation it must be nearer £25 a day now.LOL
We will be there on the 28/02 with the 750MC cannot wait.

biggest problem with goodwood is noise.
Local council have a system rigged up at the circuit and linked to offices in town, so all they have to do is phone up and say STOP.

I went round and managed to get every microphone off the scale.... even tried lifting when going past each mic, but that just got boring.

Make sure you are well below the 98Db otherwise it could be a wasted trip.

Thanks for that ActiveMS but the 750MC day is a 105dB day. I understand that they have 2 different types of days at Goodwood, most are 98dB but there are some proper days with 105dB. Although that is still below the MSA limit of 108dB and therefore requires re-packed silencers etc.
