changes at Snetterton
Does anyone know what the changes are at Snetterton?
We went there for a test session to find fencing from the bridge to Russells? Seemed a little odd and a bit disconcerting as we normally park on the inside of Coram. The other bit of grass between the road from Russels to paddock and halfway to the bridge was also fenced. There is also a new building going up across from the start/finish. |

Have you dried out yet?
Would say that the building on the outside of the track at the startline is the new timekeepers and comentators building - About time too! |

Fencing may have been to do with the Snet Supermoto track which cuts through between Russell and the Esses....

I noticed the fence towards the end of last season and it was all finished when I went there for marshal training last week, it was being put up ready for the Supermoto but I think it will be staying for secruity purposes, it does make it look a bit strange. The building opposite the start is the new timekeepers building but hasn't been worked on since the end of last season. I guess Mr Palmer will be looking into getting that sorted before the start of the season!

Hello all,
The fencing was put up for the SuperMoto, and will not prevent anyone for gaining access to the infield at Esses or Coram, as on race days the gates will be open etc... As for Timekeepers, we had to wait whilst the sale process was ongoing so that the costs etc could either be met by Octagon or by the new owners...as at the stage just before xmas, we didn't know who that was going to be... Work has now re-started and we are hopeful for a completion by end of March... Hope this helps.. Rgds Jamie |
