Co-driver dies on UK Rally event

Co-driver Christine Francis has been killed in an accident on the Kall Kwik Rally in North Yorkshire, UK. The Subaru Impreza, driven by Christines brother Jeff McNeil, crashed on the third stage of the rally last Sunday at about 13:45. The stage was dry and the crash occured on a long straight stretch of the stage. The car left the road and struck several trees with the left side of the right hand drive car taking the full force of the impact.
Despite the quick actions of rescue and medical crews, Christine was pronounced dead at the scene by one of the rally Doctors.
The Motorsport Association, which is the UK's governing body, will conduct a full investigation into the accident as well as the statutory Police investigation as in any fatal accident.
The rally continued and was won by Ryan Champion in a Mitsubishi Lancer. There was no post rally celebrations as a mark of respect.

imull has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Liam, were you there? What right do you have to comment like that on other peoples reactions!!!

Having done Mull as my first ever event last year and members of my household that weekend being directly involved with the accident, I can tell you without any doubt that it is not exactly easy to go and 'celebrate'!

Just remember, "there but for the grace of God go I"

Fully agree with you imull. I knew Susan Cameron from my Aberdeen Uni days.
Maybe you should expand on your post liam?
