BRSCC Donington
Just a quick thank you from everyone "upstairs" for sticking with us yesterday to see the programme out.
With a LOT of clearing up to do between races and having the worst of the elements thrown at us, we again have to apologise for the loss of the lunch break and the late finish. Hope to see you at Mallory on Easter Monday (6:00pm finish guaranteed !! |

Thank you for this message.
Despite the rain & wind, I thoroughly enjoyed Sunday's racing - some great dicing - and the combination of rain, oil and gravel on the circuit at places livened things up immensly! |

Ah!
I've not said a great deal of complimentary things about yesterday on other threads - mainly about the feedback "we" observers get back from Race Control regarding reports. Perhaps in your capacity as committee member, Tony, you could raise this when appropiate? Your words of thanks however, go a long way and are appreciated! Mark |

Don't forget ALL marshals--the Brscc still love you and Tony was only saying what the committee thought--which was--with marshal's help we had a bloody good race meeting
See you all at Mallory 12 April Don Truman |

I think perhaps now we've all calmed down (And dried off)that most of us will agree that the racing programme was very entertaining.
I know the BRSCC "Love" us and to be honest, you only have to do one of their meetings at Mallory to see that they can do the job properly!! I guess that yesterday was different in as much that there were many "Senior" HQ staff overseeing things and possibly forgetting that they once were marshals out on the bank! I don't hold grudges (For Long) and will be volunteering for BRSCC Midland events as usual in the future. However Don, many marshals will not see your above comments or those of Tony's, so perhaps a leaf out of the 750mc book might be appropriate and a short note from the Chief Marshal to each volunteer to echo yours and Tony's sentiments might be justified!
