Is this black coffee to get us all awake before the first race..

It looks like a tight running weekend again so hopefully not much action to clean up...

Any colour coffee you want just be sure you are awake. Touring cars and not much clearing up don't exactly go hand in hand.
Be ready to be busy!

With reference to todays meeting at Oulton, pies and helicopters.
All marshals to declare possesion of any of the following; pies of any kind, helicopters and racing cars.
All said items to be declared at signing on and deposited for safe keeping, under no circumstances must any of these items be taken trackside by marshals.
Failure to take heed of this warning and any resulting mayhem caused in your area will result in naming and shaming

I'll be there on Sat and Sun. Going to have to rethink what to eat though.

And no scratching unmentionable places or nose picking. These activities are reserved for the drivers.

Be warned, not only is there live TV, but I will be on the prowl with my camera and you could star in the next caption competition on here.

you should take some pics of marshals as well as we never seem to be able to get good ones...I bet there is quite a few marshals who would like a pic or two of them dealing with an incident or doing there other jobs.. There are plenty of cars and drivers out there but what about the other boys and girls that make racing safer...

Ken does take pictures of marshals, lots of pictures, see the various caption competitions.

He was also handing out A4 sized colour pictures to those marshals he had photoed over the F3GT weekend; thank you once again for it.

Craig, I always aim for anything in orange that moves (that sounds like a Clio driver), so be warned. I hand out A4 prints at the following meeting (or second day for a two day event like the BTCC), or post them to anyone who e-mails me with an address.

KayBee, I'm worried that Andy keeps popping up in my shots. Is he trying to get enough of them to make a calendar? Now there's and idea, the marshals could do one of 'those' calendars like the WI ladies, tastefully done of course, no blatant frontal nudity. What a way to raise money for the funds.

I thought he was being paid by Autosport to go around the circuit eating pork pies so they could get more crash pictures.

I think it is too spooky. I take a picture of some marshals in action (or eating, or having a fag) and there he is. Its like 'Where's Waldo'.

Was it the power of the pork pie or was it the coissants on Sunday AM?

After nowt on Saturday round at Tower, the racing on Sunday was good and then we started getting incidents. Thanks to all for a good meeting and Vikki Butler Henderson for her signature!
