1200Datto27 has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Skaife back in charge?

From the racenews mailing list.

This is HRT's pre winton handout, notice what has been done to the setup on car 22?

Car #22/Chassis 048:
Post Queensland
• No engine change
• Install QR set up

Todd Kelly:
“Because it is a 300km race in Winton, a good consistent car set up is what will ultimately win the race. With that in mind, we have worked hard to try and make the car as consistent as possible for this race”.

He may have some fun there!

But there is an "E" key between them. They did manage to get car 2 ok though.

pete55 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Wouldn't that mean that the 300K race setup used at QR is suitable for the Winton track.

Dang,

Never reply to a post when you have been driving for 10 hours with a screaming child in the back seat!

If you were driving in the back seat, no wonder the child was screaming!

(sorry, I know it was a simple type that started all this)

What about installing the under dash "extra" ECU wiring for better traction control = wins races

Seriuosly though, would Winton and QR require a vastly different set-up? I think not.

It is hard to say,but the QLD teams have gone OK at Winton and the Vic teams OK at QLD so maybe they are similiar, the bumps at QLD are not at Winton so maybe it has changed a bit now.
All the tracks seem to be getting resurfaced with the same compound now so maybe the difference is minimal.
