1200Datto27 has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Does the car come with it for that price?

That's the going rate for a used polarizer now.

If you want further verification, you can check with HDT SV at Revesby; Ph. 02 9792 1911

I suspect that it will only go up in value, as they are only going to get rarer. In the meantime, you could use it in your Brute for improved performance

"That's the going rate for a used polarizer now."

If something was installed but never actually did anything, does it classify as used ??

IIRC the equipment to test the polarizer's claims, effectiveness, and performance; had yet to be invented (in 1986).

So, to assume it didn't work is unsubstantiated.

A link to how the polarizer works

"IIRC the equipment to test the polarizer's claims, effectiveness, and performance; had yet to be invented (in 1986)."

Has the equipment been invented yet and have the unsubstantiated claims in the article been substantiated ?

Well, you see, I have this bridge, which is surplus to my requirements, and........

On a slightly more serious note, I wonder what PB would say in private about this.

MHDT, Thanks for that. I can't believe I thought the polariser was complete BS. After reading about how it works I can't see how any of us ever doubted Brockie. It's all so simple. Ha Ha Ha.

I wonder if Skaifey will let him fit one to the HRT car for Bathurst. It may just be the thing they've been missing performance wise this year. Ha Ha Ha

for potential buyers, remember, if installing the polariser into a used car, it will take an hour for every 1000 kms travelled, before it will become effective..

he he he

Does it come with the sticker for the window?

I guarantee it WILL NOT work without the sticker, and it will not work if the sticker is damaged or not applied in exactly the right postion and alignment.
The sticker was the antenna for the unit.

Disclaimer, altho I guarantee it wont work without the sticker, this implies no guarantee that it WILL work WITH the sticker, or at all...

Wasn't there some disclaimer that if it wasn't installed by the HDT factory then it wouldn't work...some mystical wand waving, chanting etc or the sort...

All Brock bashing aside, I often wonder about that too, what he really thinks now after so many years reflection.
