Well, I cannot find anything about the above. Haven't got a clue if there's a website announcing such days.

Guess the only thing you can do is mail McLaren, BAR, Williams and Jaguar (or mail Silverstone instead?).

If you do go, have fun. Testdays were nice last year, I got into the pitlane with my son

If you phone Silverstone and listen to their automated service, it gives an option (#2 or #4 iirc) regarding testing and will say what teams are expected on what days.

i most certainly did ring silverstone. i listened to a pre recorded message, telling me the provisional dates for testing and it also told me that they were unable to say what teams were due to appear. I never got round to actually speaking to anyone as such. My guess is that Jordan,BAR, and maybe Mclaren will be there, but that really is a wild guess! im going to pop down Tuesday afternoon, i have nothing to lose!

I'm pretty sure McLaren said they'd be there (at Silverstone) in todays ITV show "meet the teams" feature.

Ok here's what I've read so far......

From the Jordan website: At Jordan we have a busy week to focus on with Timo testing at Silverstone on 14 September and the team preparing and packing up our cars and equipment for the inaugural Chinese Grand Prix, which we are very excited about.”

From the Toyota website: We have a test in Silverstone next week, which is a high-speed circuit and one that will be beneficial to prepare our TF104B race car for the three remaining races of the season in China, Japan and Brazil."

McLaren: De la Rosa said on ITV they would test at Silverstone next week (as T0MAT01 has alreday pointed out).

Can Redblurr or Sonic confirm where they heard that BAR and Williams will be there too?

Jim.

According to Dutch Ceefax Ralf will have a testsession on Silverstone this week to prepare for China.

So that's Williams, McLaren, Jordan and Toyota for sure.
Have fun there, guys

Well, if departure to China is from Heathrow, then maybe the Italians and Swiss join the party aswell?

I went yesterday. rain stopped play a bit too often but still a great day though.

Jenson was quick but spun in front of us at Becketts. in the dry - pretty hairy stuff!

Davidson looked solid - ended up a couple of tenths up on jenson, after an excursion on a massive puddle at Luffieild early in the day

Glock was ragged, and slow

Toyota's looked very steady. Zonta missed his apex at the right hander at Maggots pretty much every lap!

Ralf put in a couple of blistering times but didn't really do a great deal of mileage - hes right back on it though. Toyota must be relieved!

Two Mclarens looked pretty strong, especially wurz actually.

Montangny looked very average I have to say.

great fun!

Hmmm, 1 tenth off Alonso's time yesterday in his first outing, quite decent if you ask me.

Always difficult to compare times in testing, but he does appear to have the pace - as expected!

i went tuesday afternoon, probably the worst day of the three! was a bit damp, but all the cars ran for a good 15 minute spell at about 3.30.I eventually went home when the roughest sounding jordan ever, parked it on luffield corner, thus bringing out the red flags! Was good to see the cars though, it kinda made up for not going to the Grand Prix this year! Toyota and Renaults looked good. I swear to god that i saw a toyota driven by Ralf go around the track at one stage, but surely that cant be right, cos next lap i saw him in a Williams!! Those of you who saw Jacques today...im VERY jealous. But iv just heard hes signed for williams.Roll on next year, some awesome driver pairings, as well as a few odd ones! Should all make for an interesting season! I dont care if Jacques finishes 1st or last, as long as he messes up Michaels races!
