Thanks MGCC at Brands 26th27th
Well done to the MG car club for the great meeting at Brands. Although I was only there on Sunday the day ran very smoothly from a drivers point of view. On behalf of the Revival Jag boys thanks for being so accommodating when one their cars broke an engine during practice.

Yeh, support that. Well organised and smoothly run meeting. Just a shame my clutch exploded in practice... :-(

I guess this would depend on which championship you choose to compete in - going on usual driving standards, it is probably much higher in The MG Challenge (F's, TF's and ZR's) due to the high number of incidents than in something more 'car friendly' like Total Butler. It might be worth contacting MGCC as there is an arrive and drive option for the MG Challenge, though - I am sure they could give you contact details.

If you are looking at racing on a budget these guys http://www.mgmetrocup.co.uk/ have a good handle on keeping your running costs down. I did a season a couple of years ago for under £2000.00 including buying a car.
There is also an Arrive & Drive package that that club promotes on behalf of M.G. & I belive there is a test day at Pembury in October that prospective drivers are being invited to, contact for this is 01235 555552.
