Button seeking new manager?
Dono if this is threadworth or even mentioned before but have read somewhere Jenson Button wants to end his relationship with his personal manager John Byfield, because of the Button soap. Seems that Byfield and Button's father wanted Jenson to sign a contract with Williams whereas Jenson himself prefered to stay at BAR. The two do not communicate optimally and it seems that after next weekend it will be announced that Button will have a new manager. If his contract allows him to do so.
I'd like to see Jenson to stay at BAR. Heidfeld or Fisichella wuld be good options for Willems in stead. |

Dono?
I haven't heard that one. However I think Button would be happy at either Williams or BAR. It is unusual for a driver change to pan out like this, but I really do think that Button will still do well if he stays at BAR - they'll be no hang-ups about the change. Maybe what you say is part of the reason. |

I don't think that Button will stay at BAR. But if he stays here, things will not be so good for him. I mean, if u tell your boss, that ur living, and than ur not, what will he think and how will he work with u! And DR is not such a nice "sim" afterall.

Is this an English language forum?!
I must say I'm terribly shocked by this revelation! Here's a link to an article covering this on Pitpass. http://www.pitpass.com/fes_php/pitpa...s_art_id=22609 Last edited by ASCII Man; 14 Oct 2004 at 11:50. |

Funny you should say that... As for Button, he seems to be looking at changing his management in the future with the latest suggestion being that the new management team might involve Jaguar Racing PR man Nav Siddhu, who worked with Jenson at Williams in 2000. |

Can't beat a good story...it's more fun than the racing init?...JBs dad has always really been his main overseer, they've had 4 managers todate. I saw an interview on TV when the contract issue first broke where Jenson was quite adamant that whatever the outcome he wouldn't be driving for BAR next year! This story then would be a complete about turn in his plans!

I flipping well hope that the manager changes.
Then the fan club may be run proberly because the way it's currently run is a shambles. |

This is already second manager change for Button, earlier he had Robertsons David and Steve (now with Kimi) as his managers.

I think a manager change may be more crucial from a jensons career point of view rather than any fan clubs he may be running.
