Arnage should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
British magazines?

I remember being very excited a couple of years ago about the (then)
new magazine F1Magazine. The magazine was later acquired by Bernie E.,
and the rest is history (as is the magazine).
Being in The Netherlands it's not easy to buy British magazines
nowadays, so I would like to know your opinions: are there any really
good (mostly) F1-related magazines out there? I used to read Autosport
and F1Racing (didn't read the last one for years), but don't know how
good these are now. What are your opinions? Which magazines have good
and in-depth articles and interviews like F1Magazine had?

I read Autosport (and have done since 1980) and often get F1 Racing, I also read BusinessF1 to keep an eye on the deals behind the deals.

Personally I think Autosport does a good job of covering a wide range of sport, as a subscriber you also get access to the stories on their website version.

F1 Racing covers F1 in much more detail, as a monthly magazine can, has less empahsis on news and more on features and a higher quality and number of photographs.

I think the internet has really changed the way that the F1 motorsport press operates. F1 news and rumour is freely available on the net on a daily basis, all the news sites and sites like us have 'what is happening' or stuff like today's testing times or whatever, available on the day.

For example, all the new car launches will be seen via the internet long before they get into print.

The specialist F1 press will still cover all the news and rumour for the fans who don't have internet access, but knowing that many readers will already have that information. Hence the need for comment, columnists and features to put some perspective onto the news.

I don't know of anyother UK F1 publication now that F1 Magazine has closed and due to all of the above I don't think we will see another one in it's place.

I will move this into 'Armchair Enthusiast' for extra comment.
