I don't know about the Malaysian race but if the Australian round didn't have a chance of still going ahead they would have said something one of the following webpages.

www.formulanippon.com.au
www.pimm.org

Toranosuke Takagi will return to F. Nippon this year with team Cerumo, but with a proper structure called "Takagi Planning".

In the official Formula Nippon website says there was recently a private test sessions at Suzuka made by teams Nakajima, 5zigen, Cerumo (Takagi Planning) and Dandelion.
The drivers who tested were Toranosuke Takagi (Cerumo), Takashi Kogure (Nakajima), André Lotterer (Nakajima), Tsugio Matsuda (5zigen), Richard Lyons (Dandelion), Naoki Hattori (Dandelion) and an unknown Irish driver who tested for Dandelion too (his photo is here; help me to identify this driver!).
No lap times were reported.

No, that isn't Lyons.
That was Emmett Queenan - the test was part of his prize for winning the Formula Ireland Championship last year.

Does anyone know if there is still a chance of a round of the Formula Nippon in Western Australia on the new Bunbury International Circuit???

There hasn't been any news on it since June last year but if there is defenitly no chance of having a race in the Formaula Nippon this year then shorly would have said something on one of the following sites:
www.pimm.org-Perth International Motorspot Management
www.formulanippon.com.au-Formula Nippon Australia

I don't think Australia round will be held on this year, just like sepang's case in serval years ago.

Moreover, formula BMW asia seems to be held on this track on 10-11sept(uncertain whether asian touring car championship held altogether)
