Leave that M6 in the garage and keep racing the M3GTR.

I agree Red Bullet - IF BMW were to ever homlogate the M3 GTR. Unfortunatly thats not going to happen, the M6 however will, and will therefore be eligable for the LMES and the ALMS as well as FIA GT and of course Le Mans. Its for the best really.

give it a year or so and there'll be a new E90 series M3 - hopefully they'll make something out of that, considering the road car version is having the awesome V8 from the previous M5...

is it a brand new V8? i presume BMW meant that it'll have somewhat similar performance levels to the old M5, then...? i got told (by one or two people at bracknell) that the new M3 was going to have the old M5 V8 engine. I guess they were wrongly informed by their own company lol. Or BMW changed their minds.

Will these BMWs be reliable? The cars should be bulletproof, going on the enviable reliability of the 24hr Group A cars in the '80s and onwards... maybe they just dont like V8s?

There's unfinished business at Spa so I'm putting my money on an appearance by the BMW squad. Evo magazine had an interview with the boss of M division. They want a level playing ground in GT1 .. and named the MC12.
