Legends at Oulton - Saturday 9th April

The fantastic entertainment that is Legends Racing returns to Oulton this Saturday.
I've heard that Legends will use a Safety Car this season - could make for interesting/not interesting races! (Timetable)

Any ten-tenthers coming up/down/over to join in the fun?

Yep that'd be a tough one to miss Clive!

We'll get our MG fix later in the year!

Have fun!

Most definitely - my first Oulton Meeting of the season, and having the Legends there will just ensure it's going to be a worthwhile day out

Do not forget the 2CVs,as they always put on a good show, and although slower still run in packs like the Legends.See you all there!

First Post

Hi Mark/All,

As this will be my first day for 05 and as an official Trainee (did 4 days last year) I am very much looking forward to it, especially after the excellent training day.

As you say these Legends look tasty, on paper anyway, and the 2CV's are always interesting.

See you all on Saturday.

Cheers, Steve

I'll be there, wouldn't miss the legends for anything. If the racing is anything as eventful as Donington was this weekend we'll be in for a cracker.

Great to see Legends getting some interest.

Maybe then you'll consider coming to Rockingham on April 30/May 1 for the SCSA, Pickups and Legends event.

The event is a BARC meeting, and is a great weekends motorsport!

Unfortunatly i'm already doing the top hat event at Donington, although i will do the Rock one day as it was a great place to watch Indy when it came to these shores...

Indeed! (Couldn't remember the Sponsor so I didn't bring it up!)

Hope our very own flaggie/driver Duncan Auckland can hold on to his title!

Looking forward to meeting you.

What will you be doing on Saturday? If marshalling will you be going on Cliff's world famous tour?

Just mention at sign-on that it's your first day at Oulton & MarshalGirl will point you in the right direction.

It's possible that Cliff may not be doing the tour, as he only does it if there's sufficient demand, but it's well worth doing - could be your only chance to see the better posts, such as Water Tower......

hmmm.. Water Tower. Not the quiet post it used to be.
ref lastyear f3/gt meeting.
Was it bomb in that hit that tyre wall, or perhaps a stray TVR from the GT race.
poor old Ian Gaw, last race of the day and we all went home.
