RfH line up for Le Mans
Dutch press release: Jan Lammers will be joined by John Bosch and Elton Julian in the RfH car for the 2005 le Mans. Till now it looks like RfH will only enter one car. Seems like a good line up. Will they have any chance, though?

Just read the message at www.pittalk.nl (it's a Dutch site, sorry for all others) and you'll know. An American, has experience in British F3, won a race there, and, as I'm sure, has money .

Elton Julian to race at the Le Mans 24 for Racing For Holland!
Check it out: http://www.planetlemans.com/index.ph...d=916&Itemid=2
Nice choose, Jan! Elton Julian is one of the most underated drivers ever. 10 years before Scott Speed, America had an F1 driver, but no one cared enough about having an American in F1 and he never got a chance to race. It's a shame, because you don't win an F3 race in England against the likes of Gil de Ferran at 17 without being something special. Better late then ever, maybe this ride will lead to a full time gig in sportscars. The quality of drivers in the LMES & ALMS is tops, imo better then champcars or IRL, and the addition of Julian will be great. |

Elton Julian was very good in British F3, though hindered by a lack of budget. I'm glad he's back in the saddle. He'll be quick, no mistake.

It is even more intersting if you know that RfH only started with their test program at 14:00.... They arrived a little late.

Are there any pictures of the test? I would love to see the new RfH livery in action.

I can't dig this new livery either really. Black, white, orange, yellow, too much colours. I still like the black and silver livery from the last FIA-SSC championship the most.

Short update from Jan: Team tried several aero packages and tried to find a good spot to put the 50kgs penalty weight. It seems they had a lot of wind today and times have not improved. Overall he was very happy with the results of the test - they have a similar pace as the R8.
