Good pace from Yoshimoto there - although he actually drives for BCN.
What are track conditions like? |

Bad first practise for Carroll, hope he can improve for qualifying. Good so far for Bruni, another win this weekend?

they say the qualifying results are still only provisional due to to many drivers having their best laps destroyed due to spinners....but tell me, what can they do? start the session over again...?!?! so what...yellow flags are part of a qualifying session, you get lucky or unlucky. pla seems to be off the road more times than he is off it though. and despite alot of guys getting held up (no doubt carroll and piquet included) the top 13 are all inside a second of eachother. competative stuff.

i read it wrong. some drivers may lose their quickest laps for setting them under yellows. once again ignoring yellow flags this time gp2 drivers....
i wonder who will get the chop and who will benefit....i carroll losing a front row start for adr in belgium a few years ago for his right wheel being off track at the bus stop. maybe he will benefit this time. |

rosberg, kova and premat have been punished for their wrongdoing by having their best laps deleted. no news on how that muddles the grid though.

Who has stalled so far? Speed, Sharp, Pla, Yoshimoto, Lapierre, Viso...
Is it just me or are the guys at the back way too slow to form up? That can't be helping. |

It could well be driver error, rather than the car.
It seems to be the same guys who stall regularly. |

Carroll harpooned at lap one - someone came down the inside about 100mph faster than anyone else!

Garcia. He was heading for Adenau or somewhere. Needed to scrub off about 130mph in 0.1 seconds to make that corner.
Well, he took 5 cars out with that one manoeuvre, so ban him for 5 races. Seems fair to me. About time some of these limited brain cell ******s were taken away where they cannot do more damage. |

****ing bleeding amateurs. some drivers are at fault, doesnt surprise me as some of them are numptys. some stalls are car related. garcia should be shot. once again adam carroll loses many many points though no fault of his own.

High drama and talkability though.
Pity Carlton's making his usual fine mess of the commentary. |

There's no excuse for a commentator not knowing the car livieries and who's who.
There's no excuse for a commentator not watching what is happening. There's no excuse for a commentator who has to laugh at his own incompetence through the race. There's no excuse for a commenatator who trots out tired pre-conceived opinions of the drivers, rather than basing them on events. |
