Oulton Park camping

Hello,

i'm heading up to Oulton Park for the BTCC on the 18/19th of June. It will be my first time there and i'm not sure on the camping arrangements for marshals. Could anyone help me out? Also a timetable for the weekend would be appreciated.

thanks

tim

You'll get a timetable with your final instructions, which you should get within the next few days - ours arrived on Friday.

Having never camped at Oulton before (Marshalled many times), is the public camp and marshals camp the same area?

I've not camped at Oulton since someone wrecked my tent and scratched my car.
This was in the days when we camped opposite the pits in a Marshals-Only camp site.

Steve,

My encounter was 12 years ago and the person(s) that I suspected of causing the damage no longer frequent the circuit.

There is no more risk of your 'van getting damaged at Oulton than there is anywhere else.

I'll just look where I'm driving when I come in on Saturday morning!!!!

The Marshals camp site at Oulton is located near the main entrance behind the Bailey Bridge (Warwick). First left after the ticket booths. Why not drop in at the Marshals Club stand and say hello - we will be somewhere in the trade stand area.

ok guys... from someone who camps there Including this w/e, I think you'll find when you go through the booths you will find a fenced off area on your left (backing on to 'bailey bridge' post) which usually has security on for big meetings like this and is totally for marshals only. I've used it several times and not had a problem YET! (speaking too soon i guess!) just look for the black mazda & caravan friday night + say Hi. See you there

Looks like i'll be there Friday night too, saves getting up too early the Saturday. Anyone know if a TV with Le Mans will be about? I might have to ask them Vauxhall guys if we can gatecrash saturday night so we can catch up on the race....
