Yep, it's a Vauxhall...
My new company car is an order.
In the meantime I have been allocated a pool car - A (new shape) Astra SRi, Turbo Diesel. It has got an enormous set of boots, with wafer thin low profiles and spanking 5 spoke alloys, with all the factory issue body kit. I kid you not, people look at it in admiration. Not just the chavs either I've had some decent cars over the last few yrs, but never had as many glances from folk as this. Its got a sport mode, which doesnt do much but so what. All this from Vauxhall! Amazing. Last edited by Bluebottle; 12 Jul 2005 at 18:38. Reason: Edited to remove autocensor dodge. It reads better now anyway ;) |

5 door hatch or 3 door hatch ?
I do really like the new 3 door Astra, not so keen on the five door model though, i currently own a mark 4 Astra and while it is much more conservative i do prefer it to the newest 5 door models, although i have never driven the mark 5, i would certainly take a look at the mark 5, 3 door model, in sporty or CDX trim. Having said that, if i were in the market i would be very tempted with the all new facelifted Vectra that is soon to be on sale (October). Unfortuantly i am not in the market, and will have to stick by my current 99 Astra |
