Why is that? Is F1 unpopular in Australia? It is not very popular in the US but we get live coverage of F1 races, as well as tape delayed replays at 12-1 for people who don't want to wake up at 6 AM to watch a race live.

Why haven't any of the "big names" come out yet?
The fact that US networks prefer to show whatever lame programming they have on at 7 or 8 AM on Sunday morning over F1 reveals just how unpopular F1 is in the US. |

I don't understand why F1 isn't very popular in Australia and in the US because it is the best racing series in the world. And I don't understand why Champcars isn't very popular either. Champcars is also the best racing series in the world!

Stopped in sector 2 - could be car problem or a spin....

Very dusty track, thus the slow times.Agreed mabs, I don't know too many F1 supporters here in SA, but we do try and get small groups together to watch afternoon races. Mostly Italian Ferrari supporters, which is OK, seeing as I am a neutral.
Ten's F1 coverage is dodgy as. Neil Crompton talks out of his a$$. Bill Woods is bearable, I definitely look forward to ITV's commentary on race nights though. Nine's coverage was a lot better, although Darryl Eastlake was annoying, and Alan Jones was a little old school, they beat Ten hands down. |

Yellow flags are waving now. Michael Schumacher has stopped out on the circuit. It looks like technical problems for Ferrari. |

Good job from Doornbos, fastest Minardi and only just off Massa's Sauber. Bit of a late glory run from Zonta in the Toyota. Kimi looks favourite for pole.
