Sony HD 500
On Sunday, NASCAR Nextel Cup moves to the California Speedway for the Sony HD 500. There are just two races remaining before the cutoff in the “Chase for the Championship”. Last week’s race jumbled the standings, sending Kevin Harvick, Dale Jarrett and Ryan Newman tumbling down the order. Matt Kenseth and Jeff Gordon benefited from the race as they keep their hopes alive. Elliott Sadler, Jarrett, Harvick and Dale Earnhardt Jr. are just about out of time. They just have 650 laps to race their way into the championship.
