Bmw V12 Lmr
I am having a hard time finding a Kyosho 1/18th scale model of the Sebring #42 BMW V12 LMR winner. Does anybody know where I could maybe find one for sale??
Does anyone else know of some good websites that has pics of the 1999 Sebring race? Are there any review videos of Sebring 99'? While we are on the BMW LMR, do you think that the LMR could have been run longer if BMW would have not got involved in to that dang F1? I would say the V12 LMR had at least 1 or 2 years of life left in it to take it to 2001 or 2002. |

I agree . That was a nice car and a shame that it didnt find its way to some customers . F1 just soakes up money ! Im just hacked off that I missed the best race of the year (Indyanapolis) . But then again , I was at the best race of the year at the time ..... Le Mans .

With regard to the diecast, and after all this time since it's release I suspect that the best approach is a regular search on eBay. One will come along sooner than later.

A great car and so much prettier than an R8! shame it wasn't developed and used for a couple more seasons.
Don't know where to get the models from but reckon jna's advice is your best bet. |

The LMR better looking than an R8? Um, I know it's personal preference and all but I just don't see that. I have a 1:18th scale model of both sitting on my bookcase. Both are attractive, but the BMW looks more antiquated to me. I like them both, but the R8 gets the nod IMO.
