Interesting how teams are going to Bahrain to test as the first race is there next year. It's much more expensive than the usual circuits in Spain due to air freight charges.

It's more interesting that the Red Bull teams are going to Bahrain. The last few years there had been a gentlemens agreement among the teams to not test outside of Europe to keep costs down. Ferrari announced at the end of the 2005 racing season that they would test at Bahrain (to some uproar among the teams), and now it appears that Red Bull are following in Ferrari's footsteps.

I wonder if we will see any non-Ferrari teams break the agreement? If they do, I wouldn't be terribly surprised if we'll end up with Toyota testing at Fuji and McLaren at Sepang. So much for those cost saving iniatives!

I think the other teams may as well break this "gentlemen's agreement". Until the FIA ban this amount of testing, why should they deprive themselves whilst the likes of Ferrari hammer round Fiarano?
