Have a look through the advertisers on this site. There may be a company in there and 10/10s gets the revenue.
Alternatively pm Al Weyman (one of our posters) and see if he can help. |

Not wanting to queer anyone's business pitch but when I wanted some years ago all I had to do was walk into the local stationer cum print supplier and tell them what i wanted. Font style and letter height I seem to recall.

Go for it then, I bet yer don't get em not fancy full colour printed and contour cut vinyl ones anyhow which is what I thought he was after as I have yet to see a stationer with a £10k solvent ink vinyl print and cut machine but I am prepared to be corrected! As for business pitch, little jobs like this for me are a pain if you want the truth but I will do them to help guys out.

You should be able to order them on-line from here: http://custom-graphics.co.uk/
Just find the font, select the size and colour. Inside and outside stickies. I use them for all sorts of bit and pieces for the car. |

Ha Ha Ha go for it AndyM. I just went onto that site and typed in my name twice in three inch PLAIN not PRINTED letters and it came back at £44, I would knock that price into the provebable cocked hat but there you go what can I say. Not all advise is good advice my friend. Nice fancy site interface though and thats what you are paying for! (My man is working on my interactive version right now)

Its in my public profile DJ, I don't want to upset the management, I will be placing an ad with them soon anyhow as soon as I have sorted out the banner. I did have an online shop and prices but I was not happy with the company (I reckon they wer'nt as secure as they said, had a couple of instances) or the way it was working so I shelved it temporarily.

Blimey, excuse me for trying to help. You could just look in the yellow pages and speak to any signwriting business. Most (if not all) will have the same machines for cutting vinyl.
I've just used that site in the past for small stickers and the price has never been very high. Mind you I have a friend who runs a signwritting business and he does my bigger vinyls for beer. Next time I'll check everyones profiles and makre sure I'm not stepping on any toes! |

Tony,
Sorry there is a little confusion here and it does happen lets explain. People often say printed when in fact they mean cut vinyl, but the original request was for PRINTED vinyl graphics not merely cut. That is why I was saying if you want something printed on to vinyl then contour cut to shape it is a totally different ball game, eg letters with say a flame effect or aluminuim deck effect etc. that is when you need a sophisticated machine that will print colour on the vinyl graphics then contour cut to shape (also a good operator) both of which we have here. As a matter of interest on the sample I mentioned at the other site and in plain vinyl (NOT PRINTED) my name has 11 characters, x 2 both sides at say 3" tall letters, to sales off the net or walk ins I would charge at 54p a character plus vat which would be £13.96, add a bit of P & P and the total would be around £17 tops inc. vat. If you wanted printed and cut then double it. That site wanted £44 for PLAIN vinyl and I assure you they will not do it any different than we will as we only use the best materials and have the latest and best soft and hardware. |

Actually I've got a sticker from the 1978 Spa 24hrs. It's an original so I don't want to use it. Could you make a couple up for me? Don't quote prices just yay or nay would do.

If you can give me a good enough image to work with then of course, if there is some computer time recreating it obviously it will be chargable but basically Yay! I also have a massive scanner here so if it is hard copy (i.e flat unfitted) it would be a doddle

Are there any legal issues (as a general point) with copying someone else's stickers/images?
