Shell's new Optimax 100
Has anyone here used the new Shell Optimax 100 octane which has 5% Ethonal in it? I saw it today for the first time. It was 9cents per lite more expensive then normal Optimax

It is hardly worth the price that Shell is asking for over here. There is a lot of pressure on the Fedral Governmet from the Sugar Cain growers in Australia for the government to pressure the oil companys to use ethonal in petrol

Well i used 98 octane in my older car, and i notice the difference
91 octane makes my car run like a tractor. |

i'd like to try it, but my supra always runs like crap when it gets filled with 98RON shell optimax, I don't know i want to possibly waste a tankworth of petrol when I could stick with bp, mobil or caltex quite happily (and other owners have tried it and noticed no difference, even with ECU reset to force adjustment of ignition timing to the new fuel)
