BRC Round 2 - Pembrey May 7th
So, I know its early, but who's going?
We will be there, just need to sort out a list of little things from Lydden, including the gearbox! It should be quite a good entry, but would imagine not quite as good as Lydden. Lets pray for a little less rain than last year so the awning does actually help, you were more dry standing outside than in the awning last year!! |

I'll be there.
No real changes to the car, just need to replace the sump guard i damaged at lydden (i was giving it the old "maximum attack" and straight over one of the higher curbs and broke the welds on the supporting bracket ) As HR says, no rain would be nice or even less rain would do! si |

There's quite few Irish boys coming over, certainly some stock hatches and some modifieds.

You know what they say in Wales, (and come to think of it Scotland and Croft) if it isn’t raining give it half an hour.
The almost straight saxo will be out with new gearbox, linkage, clutch wing mirrors etc Hoping for another relatively clean day. |

Hi Mike, and welcome to ten-tenths.
It looks like it's going to be a good entry. Does anyone know how it's going to run, ie.are the IRC and BRC going to be running seperate heats and finals, or is everybody going to be running together? |

Cheers Mike.
Will the irish boys be running in BTRDA? Has Gibson fixed the 6R4? Last edited by HrRACING; 24 Apr 2006 at 21:09. |

Havent spoken to gibson so i dont actually know. Normally the irc and brc run the finals together and then the irc award their own points to the highest finishing positions. Keep fingers crossed its a dry day and not washed out like last year. Take it easy on the lads as quite a few of them are racing there for the first time. As we say in ireland "keep it lit". dont forget to smile for the camera's.

dont know how is entered in the btrda but as far as i can tell the two brothers have shown an interest. Will have to wait until we are all on the boat and have the chat. I believe there is a number of new modified cars. Is jamie lea and simon white entering their cars. is mike turpins car ready.

Just on the format, the Irish Champs boys will be combined with the BRDA/MSA Championship. This was part of the reason why the Irish Championship has adopted the same format as the British Championship.

Sorry HR but this post is hilarious. I'm Simon's other half and am a bit on the thin side. Ask Queen, she christened me. You have obviously never seen Simon !!! He is Rotweiler on here though isn't on much. He says if you call him Twiglet again you'll find out why he's called Rotweiler. lol You have got to come in for a cuppa now, coz yes, we will be at Pembrey. Fingers crossed the cutch turns up. Looking forward to racing again all of the Coyne's. Should be fun. Last edited by TWIGLET; 25 Apr 2006 at 20:03. |
