Ok, the Fiestas have moved to the Powertour for this year, a wise move?
We all have our opinions of the road car, but what do you think of the race series? |

I'm not a fan of the road car, particularly not when I end up having to be a passenger in one at work - the passenger seats in those things were designed to cripple anyone's back
Moving onto the race series, I always used to think the Fiestas were fun to watch, but they seemed to lose that spark last year and out of all the races we saw at the Powertour last Sunday, the Fiestas were by far the dullest. The only interesting point was the live incar radio |

If you would have asked last year I would have said I loved it. Alastair Stewart in the celeb car at Oulton was one of the highlights of the year (for all the wrong reasons of course). But after last Sunday's Silverstone PowerTour.... oh dear. Regioanl finals of the International Pro-Am Paint Drying Championship for me next time.

I'm with Redshoes on this, they were awful at Silverstone. They need at least another 25 entrants to have any hope of being interesting. One point though, is part of the problem they're now on the same bill as Tuscans and Porshe's (which are great) and follow straight after F3 (which makes them look desperately slow).

Don't forget also that Silverstone has the ability to make any race look tedious.
I reckon they'll look a lot better at some other circuits (Oulton springs to mind), and the number of entries may rise later on in the season. |
