Well for me it looked like Montoya was overtaking during the yellow flags

Good start for JV! Raikkonen for the lead! No! Alonso denys him! Wow, this may be a great race after all! Kimi is quicker right now. Is he lighter???
JV, a second quicker than NH on the last lap and closing in on Button for 6th. Heidfeld is losing touch with Massa for 8th. Update: JV 0.9 quicker than NH but gains 0.8 on JB for 6th on the last lap! |

Montoya - is simply making too many mistakes. I'm sure he will be claiming that he had suspension or something else problem after contact with Nico

Shame he is out, it was fun while it lasted. Overtaking. Nico has a little to learn about racing cleanly it seems.
Trulli is doing rather well! |

Well Alonso it seems is just controlling the race.... He'll magically pull out a lap 1 sec quicker when Kimi closes in...
MS and ferrari no where.... |

Do you think Trulli is on a three stopper?
NH and JV are now running essentially the same pace now, in 8th and 9th, with JV ahead. Massa's Ferrari overtook JV's BMW. |

Hi from the USA guys in Wisconsin
Just watching the coverage on Speed Channel....
So much better than ITV and Peter Windsor with David Hobbs make a great addition to the awesome USA team of commentators. Their knowledge of all aspects of F1 Motor Racing is far superior to the English commentators. They also make it far more exciting to watch. I love the USA & Canada. Hugs Paula |

Has anyone heard JV's new recording.
A Rock Star as well as a GP driver ( Quote from Speed ). The " Off The Cuff " remarks of the Speed commentary team is simply great !!! Paula |

Yes, there is a thread on JV's recording.
MS two stopping. Why fuel him that long? No wonder he got stuck behind Trulli. |

JV was running 2 seconds a lap quicker than Button in the laps after Button pitted. Now he is running about a second quicker. He should emerge from the pits comfortably ahead of JB if the crew doesn't botch the stop.

MS is 2 stopping.... what was the point running him for 32 laps and compromising grid slot...

Why isn't anyone going for a one stopper???
Heidfeld also overtakes Button during the pit stop cycle. BMW 7th and 8th, JV ahead. Both Hondas out of the points... |

QUOTE] Because of the tyres and the circuit involved! Its a greasy feck of a place! 2 sets better for overall race-pace It looks like an "incident" is need to stop Nando now! |
