Last hurrah for the R8. Can the Dysons bag a win before the return of the R10?
Or perhaps this is a Porsche track... The post Lemans season is here! |

You win jhansen! Although you're a cheat with your edit!
It should be a good Porsche/Audi/Lola battle again. I think Porsche this time. The GT1 battle will hopefully be as competetive as in Le Mans. The clutches should last 2h45m GT2. Well 430/Panoz/911/Beemer? Could be any. I fancy a 430 this time, one of the drivers will rise to the occassion and put in a great stint. |

Oh come on. I did the entry list first. Then decided to add the rest. So I claim success on the back of a technicality.

Not too lazy to put an unnecessary space in though.
Well, I too hope that Dyson bag a win here. It probably will not happen, but....hey, it's the last chance possibly. |

to be honest i think audi on their last ever race with the R8 deserve the win, for me the audi R8 was the greatest car it looked amazing on the track and even though it was a bit on the quiet side it made a really nice shrill noise in my opinion and it looked better than any car ever made in my opinion the appitamy of beauty was the audi R8 and at silverstone when i first arrived and was spectating just after the chicane before bridge corner i saw the R8 outbraking a ferrari 550 into the chicane and powering through the chicane and the sight and the sound was something that i dont think i will ever forget and the noise of the ferrari 550 and ofcourse the noise of the fabled judd GV4 4.0 V10 was something that could make a grown man feel 5 years old again and the sight of the audi R8 and DBA zytek 03S judd battling it out at night at silverstone was an amazing spectacle and i wish audi the best of luck at mid ohio i really do and i also hope that mcnish and the R8 will get the win that they deserve so much and finally
I BID FAREWELL TO THE AUDI R8 YOU WILL BE MISSED VERY MUCH AUDI R8 R.I.P 2000-2006 LEMANS WINNER 2000, 2001, 2002, 2004, 2005 |

@ aeroehl: you say that there will come more GT teams, do you mean GT1 teams? And you say ALMS is quality and LMS quanity, OK that's for 50% right... But next year when Corvette Racing give's up racing and preparing the C6-R, what then about the GT1 catogory? The most of those C6-R's will be moved up to Europe to race in FIA GT, ALMS, FFSA GT(french gt) etc.. Will Aston come back to race against their own? I dont see the future for ALMS GT1 class so clear... Maybe it's time for the new Viper to make a GTS-R version. I hope for ALMS there will join some teams, we wille see next year...

The Astons and the RS Spyder will be there; that is enough to make me go.
I will have to get some sort of vehicle that is able to make 260 miles roundtrip, since I sold mine. hehehe I will probably go alone, from Newark, New Jersey. |

Lusitano, where in Newark are you? I'm from New York City.
I did not know there are ALMS fans in this area. |

I'm very curious to see that Panoz GT1
And very strainght, you American's dont know that Prat & Miller will stop preparing the Corvette's C6-R??? It's announced that they will quit after this year, maybe there still will race a C6-R in ALMS but not longer under Pratt & Miller... |

Could you perhaps provide a link to the Pratt & Miller Corvette announcement to clarify. Thanks.
