Ralf you missed one. Mazzacane is thought not to start next race for Prost.

Sorry Kuchi it's hard to keep up !
Q. which drver will hold the key to silly season I think it will be Mika.
here a idea Mika retires replaced buy Hidfeld (contract to merc), Burti to suber, Delo Rosa to jag ,Fiss to ferrari, Webber to benetton.
Sorry it's just fun to play around.lol

I am sorry that you had so few responses, but your thread was overtaken by events during the day, as reported by Craig. If you look at autorace.com, it is very interesting beccause the earlier report (further down the page) with Jody complaining that Tomas wouldn't get enough testing mileage because PDLR WILL be doing most of the testing, followed by Prost saying that he's got problems with Mazza, then followed by the sudden announcement of the double chair change that saw poor Mazza squeezed out.

Fisi will be lucky to get a ride at Minardi next year. I can only hope that Webber will become a Renualt driver next year!

I was thinking in a lot of team moves that could be done by the end of the season, and I think nobody has mentioned yet Ralf's one year contract at williams. Will he stay, and if he does where will Button go??. Sir Frank owns Jensons future, but it seems that if benetton claim Trulli the young englishman will have to leave the Renault team, so he might end up with no seat for next season.

Button is at Benetton for 2 seasons, so he will stay there in 2002.

I don't think BMW will let WILLAMS lose RALF, BMW seem to be very happy with the WILLAMS number 1 . THANX V.B FOR RESPONDING

My understanding is that Flavio Flave is Trulli's manager, but that Benetton/Renault have no claim on his services. Trulli has stated that he wants to remain at Jordan. I think this is the likely scenario. Frentzen might move on, not because he isn't a good fit, but because EJ will want a younger behind in that seat.

Actully, its a move that makes a lot of sense. Flavio Flave wants to rid of him and there will be no where else to go.

And who might replace Fisi at Renault ?

Flavio has a lot to do until next season, when Renault name
the team, they should have a pretty strong duo drivers.

I thought that Fisi signed for another few years at benneton. I have no details but it was on german teletext (aka ceefax) so it's got at least some credibility. And if benneton let him go they must be pretty stupid (and they're not)

I think Mika will retire for sure. And what about Jean? he has been racing since the 80's. Anyone think he is going to hang up the helmet?

Greetings all,

I can't see Jean sticking around any longer in the Prost milk-float, he can't possibly still want to trundle round at the back. Gracious retirement I hope, for his sake. Presumably Burti will be around next year, probably partnered by a F3000 guy like Cochet or Bourdais.

As for Mika he'll probably retire, to be replaced by Heidfeld or (hopefully) Panis.

Fisi, well, he'd be better escaping to CART, otherwise he'll find himself with nowhere to park his behind!

Paul

No, Fisichella hasn't signed; Briatore has only said that "If he continues to drive like he's doing NOW, there's a possibility"
