The WHT still offers great value for money to competitors - entries rolling in for all races - should be another great weekend.

Amongst the best races I did last year - put me in the slow group, James! (I may be in a Caterham - but it's a slow Caterham...)

I could be sorely tempted - anyone else in a tintop? Concerned about being outclassed, but certainly interested.
How long are the races? |

The extra income generated by the raised entry fees will allow the BRDC to hire the circuit from.............Themselves.

I certainly does and has been tough decision which to go to, but having done WHT for the last 3 years it had to be the DTRC and thr trucks for me this year.

What is it with all these organisers, always have to put meetings up against each other
MSVR are doing an Open Saloon race at Snetterton the same weekend, 2 races and qualifying for £185. Better value but further to go than Silverstone and it always rains at Snett Decisions, decisions |

It's called "my race is better than your race"
There are plenty of cars to go around, if people had the inclination to have a play in the "winter season". At the same time, there's the EERC meeting at Donington. Britcar's night race, and fireworks spectacular - with Britcar/Prod S1 (night race), Britsports, and V8 Supercars. The latter may end up being an "open saloons" if not enough V8's come forward. That's where I'm planning to be. Rob. |

Tell me more about Donny - looks like my car would be eligible for Snett, probably Silverstone, but nice to be fully informed on choices before I send off a cheque. The car prefers long straights which both of those have, but its not bad round Donny either |

Silverstone 1 hour, Snetterton 2.5 hours - Hmm! On the other hand we are out at Silverstone on 7 Oct, so maybe Snett might be better from variety point of view

Interesting comments.
Regarding head-to-head race meetings the BRDC Walter Hayes Trophy has been firmly established on the first weekend of November for some time now. The BRDC also hosted a 'Winter Warmer' on this weekend for numerous years before the WHT evolved. It is a cracking meeting and great fun for all. As far as the 8 Clubs Allcomers races are concerned, the more the merrier ! Entry Forms from: James.Beckett@brdc.co.uk or from the BRDC web site: www.brdc.co.uk |

Am I being a total imbecile (highly likely), but why can't I find a timetable for the event?? All I've found is when the BRDC Clubhouse will be open!

That makes sense then! Mind you if I was a prospective entrant, I'd want some idea on what day / time my practice session and race is likely to be...

The timetable will not be issued until the entry closes as JEB will not know how many FF1600 heats he will need to run.
