Glasgow Street Course

Runs Anti-Clockwise, with a fast turn 1. There is lots of space for Paddock, Stands and things for fans in Glasgow Green, The course runs past The Gorbals Lesuire Centre and the Peoples Palace and Winter Gardens, Both landmarks. The Track also runs round Bridgeton Cross (turn Two). This Track feaured in the Great British Street Track Challenge Competiton, and won it! So, here is a look in more detail...

track 2

The top straight is very like a country road, even though its in the middle of a city! The dips are great! You can even fell a very slight G Force at 40mph through there, the speed limit on that road (I think) and there are blind corners on that top bit. It is sort of in Pollock Country park.

The first one is a nice track, but that area that it would be built on, the grassy, park like area, is owned by the People's Palace (the white thing next to the top straight) and it is owned by the public too so I don't think it could ever be built. But I suppose that's the point in it being a fantasy track.

thats a road that is used for normal traffic, And they use that road for the Great Scottish Run Junior 3K event, so motorsports would be ok.

Probably not. It's not a road, it's a path through the park and they can't acctually close the park grounds.
