Adam Ronke should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
I need a livery

Hi everyone,

I need a livery done for my EA Falcon. It is only going to be running in sprints to start off but will step up into to more competitive class in 2008. But seeing as it desperately needs a paint job now I need to design something and I am not very good. I have no sponsors but I will be running the Winton Motor Raceway logo on the car. The car is currently white with black bonnet and grey bumpers, but I am open to any sort of design or color scheme. And the number will be 87.

Can anyone help me??

Cheers

I have been looking around and I cant find one for an EA. In another thread I saw somewhere a BA falcon template was used so I guess that would be the way to go. I will post a good copy of the Winton logo fo you to use.

We had a request for a livery on an ea/eb last year - i used a modified version of the BA to look like a saloon car (i.e. no rear wing). this is it:

I'll cetainly have a go at it for you Adam. I might see if I can come up with a template for an EA aswell if you could give us dead side-on, front-on and rear-on photos, i can make a template for people to use based on that!

By the way, what size winton logo will you run? just a small sticker? or one that could cover a large section of the car? a rough size _ _cm X _ _ cm would be great!

Mitch

I dont know? Probably something that would take up the rear door I guess. The Winton slogan is "The Nation's Action Track" maybe that on there somewhere too. Below is banner that I use on other forums with the slogan. I dont know what font so I thought I will just post it up so you can see yourself. When I get my digi camera back I will take some photos of the car.\

Cheers and thanks for your help.

I have an EA/EB Template which you can use. Only thing is, you will have to wait until Sunday to be able to use it- Right now I can't get onto my ordinary computer. So, if you're willing to wait until then, I can supply a template to anyone who needs it.

Thanks Chatters, if you can post that up later in the week that would be great - if i get one before then i'll post it too, but yours would be very welcome!

Ok, I have a double pass to the Winton Round of the V8 Supercars for whoever designs me the best livery - it will be judged by myself, just a little incentive for your efforts.

Cheers.

Great, I look forward too seeing your creations. Chatters they are worth about $300 so you could always sell them or something - that is if you win....

Ok Adam, here's my first attempt - just the side view for now. I made a EA side template, still need to make the front & back. The 'grey' is designed as silver, but could be done in grey (it still works). The "Nations action track' font isnt 100% correct, but its the closest i have on my pc - the real signwriting could be done with the right font, but it still gives you the desired effect. I dont know what wheels you have, so for the templates sake i just used a set of plain white 5-spokes. Here it is:

What do you think?

(let me know if it is too complex or anything you like/dislike - i'll utilise the response to tweak the design/do new designs.)

Excellent work so far - M-Kart the font looks fine but maybe put the "Nations Action Track" on the red sill at the bottom? Overall a good start though

Biggy G - Looks good for something quick.
