Jan Gower should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
BRSCCNW Dinner Dance Awards

Many congratulations to Geoff Cooper for winning BRSCCNW Achiever of the year, Vanessa Bott for the Madge Simpson award (lady marshal of the year) and last but no means least Andrew Pickering won Marshal of the year award. A thank you to all the marshals who volunteered last season and also for you about to embark on yet another year of marshalling, enjoy and be careful out there!

The meal on Saturday night was, IMHO, absolutely superb.
Geoff is a very worthy winner of the "Achiever" award - and I am delighted to see him as recipient. Radio controller is never an easy job, but he carries it off with such apparent ease.

Congratulations to Vanessa, who appeared a little stunned when her name was called out. "At Last" we yelled - "A trophy in the Bott Household!" (Joking Richard!! )
Andy Pickering is just making a habit out of picking up silverware!
Congratulations to all and thanks for the invite!

Thanx to Jan for all her hardwork in organinsing the do and congratulations to all the trophy winners.

Andy also appeared stunned when they read his name out although I did ask if we'd got the right one this time; for non North West marshals we have two Andy Pickerings.

May I join in the congratulations to Geoff. We don't often have the chance to work together but when we do, it's always a great pleasure to have his expertise and company.
