Valve supplier

I'm modifying a '35 Riley 12/4 and want to explore just what valves are on offer and what can be squeezed into the head. Does anyone know of a manufacturer/ supplier who has a catalogue so that I might trawl through and find something suitable?

I know, I could copy what all the other similarly mod'ed engines have done, but where's the challenge in that!?!

Cheers,

Paul

Although buying suitable valves is the easiest solution(if you can find any) if you want a challenge you can always make your own . Buy some bigger ones and using a lathe make them to what size you want . Also make guides to suit. You can buy std car valves a lot cheaper than some of the "specialist" if you shop around.
You did say you wanted a challenge didn't you !!

Well, yes, but I think I've done enough having designed a new crank for it already! I'd like to get it running this year, so the silliness that is making parts from scratch may have to wait for a while.

ah yes G&S made my valves for me, very good, although I had to order 5 sets to get a sensible price, and wait 8 weeks
