Mclaren Should put sponsorship logo's on Mrs Hakkinen!!!
Am I the only one who is fed up with the camera cutting to Mika's wife after every shot of Hakkinen. If Mclaren had any sense they would sell areas of her clothing to sponsors!!!

Yes today more than ever we definitely were saturated by the dreaded Erja Cam.

Gee, I think she's swell. Certainly easier on the eyes than Corinna.

Hey Bononi
I was not making any comment on young EERO's visual properties.....I was trying to convey to that lad.... the insanity of publicly comparing the visual appeal of other mens wives when said comparisons are now a matter of public record...and (MOST IMPORTANTLY)can be read by one MRS. EERO........... I learned this lesson a long time ago when I first married the lovely lass who has been my partner for the past 34 years..... what a joy...what a sweetheart..what a.... 'phew... she just left the computer room.... so I covered my tracks pretty darn well, I must say.... well it's Mothers day..... time for me to cook dinner, be smart (me mother-in-law is coming for dinner) , and lay lowwwwwwwwww........... take care, all Murph |

Murph, there's nothing wrong with a little window shopping, as long as you don't actually go into the store to buy anything.
Besides, my wife is well aware of the fact that no one else would have me. |

Ok, Murph,
I saw that ! I was replying Damon's and Sonatrap's posts. By the way, did the sophisticated enviroment of F1 has made any celebration on this very day ? It sounds a little out of place don't you think ? Kimi : "Mom, I dedicate this 4th place for you !". What about Bernie ? |

What really annoys me is that she gets more coverage than Prost, Minardi, Jag and Arrows put together. Okay, slight exaggeration, but there was barely 30seconds of Prost and Benetton footage. Mainly thanks to Button's fiery exit.

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz........
That's what I think of her! Why the hell would we want to see her bloody face AGAIN ?! In the build up she must have been there about 30 times! It was kinda funny to see a replay of her reaction when hubby failed to start though... |

She is better looking than Mika and less complicated to get a response unlike Mika's car.

But what on earth has she done to her hair ... and if that is a wig, I'm sure Mika would pay for her to get a better looking one.
When Mika finally retires, who will All McLaren Garage All The Time focus on next? DC's popsy of the month? |

As much as I enjoy seeing the Ice Maiden in the McLaren garage, the new hair is, to be frank, bloody awful.

*AAARRRGGGHHH!!!*
We must have seen Erja Hakkinen at least four times during the warm-up lap alone! Not to mention the action replays of her gasping when Mika stalled... And did anybody else notice that on the ITV highlights programme we got shown pictures and commentary that we didn't get live? We got to see Ralf's retirement, which I know we didn't see during the race. I was also rather pleased to hear Murray Walker say, "That mistake will cost him dearly" only for Martin to say "I think it's a technical failure". (I'm a horribly smug person, but AMoffat already knew that ) |

Well Steph,
We are all used to seeing Ralf retire or spin off into the bushes in the tedious five years that have made up Ralf's GP career. He should have bought up the photos of his spinning car, not the naked wife to be. Now that the spleen has been vented. Erja, I'm with EEROS the woman is a great role model. Waits with baited breath as husband strives forth into the fray of battle. Am now ducking and running off to work! |

They should put MacLaren suit on her. Besides Mrs. Hakkinen will solve eternal woman's problem: "What should I wear today?".

I don't mind seeing the wives of the drivers, BUT! When Hakkinen stalled, I do believe that I saw just as many shots of a stricken Erja as I did of the striken Mika McLaren.
Although, this isn't as bad as TNT's proposal (for when they do NASCAR coverage) to put heart monitors on the wives of the drivers. |
