Castle Combe, 4th August 2007
Just a quick 'thank you' to all who helped out after my little excursion (in the no.89 FFord) off the track at the last corner during the Historic FFord race yesterday. No harm done, except to the wallet!!

as an aside from Combe last Saturday, has anyone heard how that guy was who pulled the MGB over in the enduro race (at Quarry)? From what I saw immediately afterwards, it really didn't look too good for him. I hope to hear some good news.

You thanks is much appreciated!
The Guy that pulled over was doing much better after being treated, what's more there was a little bit in Motorsport news confirming this |

It's in Autosport, too. Suspected heart attack, but well handled at the scene according to the report. Well done to whoever attended, sounds like a good job was done.

It did help he ended up about 10 yards from the rescue unit, which is pretty good parking when you're unconscious

I saw the incident from the bank at quarry luckly the chap glanced the armco coming up avon rise so this sent him into the infield and not into the barriers at quarry. As a spectator you never want to see too many things like that, which was handled in a calm proffesional way by all the rescue team and Marshalls which goes to show the training does work that's why british marshalls are the best when it comes to issues like this which resulted in a life being saved...........welldone all
