Daily Telegraph - Ugliest Cars
apparently these have been voted for by readers. The link may change on a daily basios but I must say I don't see how the BMW Z series can be ugly. Agree about the Bristol and to an extent the Porsche Boxster.
Likewise that Scooby is pretty ugly too. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/motoring/...25/mfcars1.xml |

As a Subaru fan, I'm very disappointed that the Tribeca is in there... or, more accurately, that it's only 99th.
As for the rest, all I can say is that it proves the Daily Telegraph readership has its collective head up its arse. But then, they probably think the BMW X5 is the BEST looking car. |

Yeah,
It is somewhat strange. I can understand the Aston but not the Frog eye. Then there's the Leyland, but the BMW 7 series? |

Have they not released the 80-1 yet? There's only a couple of cars in there that are truly ugly - the rest just don't have any style so are neither beautiful nor ugly.
Love it or loathe it, in my opinion the 7-series reinvented the shape for modern cars. For the last few years every manufacturer has been trying to copy it. Now if a car comes out and is not shaped as aggressively as the 7-series (ie new 3-series) then it is slandered for being boring. |

wow, someone has their head up their arse, BMW M coupe bad looking, i think not, more like one of the best looking car's to come out of BMW in a LONG time and may i ask how on earth the new mitsubishi evo 10 is a bad looking car?! it looks fabulous and the porsche boxster doesnt deserve to be on that list, granted its not a stroke of design genius but its definetely not uglier than a fiat doble or that god awful subaru 4x4 thing.
and if the comment about the boxster spells true, im gathering #1 on this list will probably be some goofy spotty 18 year old chav with a saxo or a 206? |

The Mitsubishi Lancer Evo isn't that ugly, but the NSU Prinz is absolutely HORRIBLE! The BMW Z3 coupe is ugly, but the Z3 convertible isn't ugly.

They forgot to mention that Leyland fiddled with Michelotto's design for the P76, doing fairly devastating things to the proportion of the car's looks. Also they should have had a photo of the front of the BMW 7-series, I can live with the rear.

to say an Alfa Romeo SZ is a bad looking and ugly car is bloody blastphemy!
Alfa SZ is such a great looking car, a modern classic and it absolutely does not deserve to be on that list. |

I never saw the SsangYong Stavic in there.....
But I couldn't see the whole list, so I wouldn't know if it was or not. |

Wasn't the Alfa SZ/RZ known as "the monster" because of its rather "uncompromising" styling? TW - rest assured the Stavic will be in there, no doubt along with a few other Ssangyongs!

i struggle to see how a BMW 1 series and Range rover are even on the list, but number 1 on that list is truly, god awfully and downright offensively hideous and vomit inducing, might wanna remove the link before people start projectile vomiting everywere

All 100 cars are up now, accessed via the same link given above. It is a bit odd that for many cars the criticism does not relate to the styling at all, which (amazingly enough) calls into question the thinking behind the whole thing. They seem to be mixing in a fair helping of "worst" cars amongst the "ugliest" - if it were a list of worst ever cars there are many that wouldn't be on the list eg Citroen 2CV

Hm, I think some are done by reputation rather than appearance. The Lada/Fiat 124 was a decent looking thing, the Avenger has an unusual charm (the rear light display was always a fave of the pre-school e14), and I always LOVED my little Estelle...
And the Zephyr? That was a fantastic hunk of iron. |

Well I had a look at the list over the weekend and I was surprised that there wasn't a single Dutton model in there!

I saw a couple of those Aztek's when I was in the states recently, they are truly horrific.
