pink69 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Best marshalls in the world.

Did anyone notice how fast and efficient the marshalls were at Monaco! They showed no fear of the cars , jumping out in the middle of the road and prevented many safety car periods! Why aren't all marshalls that efficient?

They are indeed very brave. The speed at which they cleaned up after NH shunt was amazing..They crane the cars at Monaco of course and that does help..But would I wish to be on a hot race race track...Ummmmmm No thank you

The marshalls at Monaco are good, however, they are closer to the track than anywhere else, they don't have as far to move the cars and they use cranes.

One of the main reasons that they are so efficient is that they don't have to run across 1/2 a mile of gravel trap to get to the cars. They also have a very good set up with cranes and trolley jacks etc, to help in moving cars, which you can't have elsewhere, again because of gravel. The drivers pay plenty of attention to yellow flags as they know that any yellow probably means cars on the track, and previous marshals posts have arrows showing which side of the track is clear to pass the incident. Also the term "Monaco Marshals" is a bit of a misnomer as they are made up of French and other european marshals, so the same people will probably be at Magny Cours too.

One final point, when watching people move frentzens car (yes they did a really good job) I did wonder if i'd have the same confidence level to get out there and move the car if all that was warning the driver was a warning light in his cockpit, which you couldn't be sure was on.
