Jonny Apex should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Buxton v Rivett

They were at it again at Silverstone today. Buxton fastest just ahead of Rivett - we are talking thousandths and miles quicker than anyone else has ever done round there before.

After their race at Brands this is shaping up to be a classic confrontation between two future BTCC champions in the making. We should appreciate this while it lasts. Roll on Oulton. Yeeha.

What about Kirkaldy? He was impressive at Brands to say it was his first round. You could say that an ex-F3 driver should have been, but could he be like a Hamilton in FRenault against the experience of Watts and McLoughlin (or in this case Rivett and Buxton)?

Are we in a golden year of Renault championships, or is this going to last for a few years?

unfortunately andrews car had an engine problem at brands, (which for douters can be confirmed by the speed trap reports on mst) which meant he lost up to 7 kmh down the straights, which means his 3rd place is even more impressive.

Once Andrew Kirkaldy's car is sorted out, it'll be a 3 way battle for sure. http://www.cliocup.co.uk/rounds/2002...ilverstone.php

Robert Huff isn't doing too badly. 6th in that test. Best Clio Scholarship driver so far. Keynes and Low weren't exactly stunning.

Looking at those times, I am suprised how slow Spencer Griffiths and Colin Stancombe were!
