Can't Bridgestone just add a zero onto all the data they get?

Fisi has escaped unharmed from a huge shunt, Alonso has had an engine failure, while Alex Wurz is now comfortable in the McLaren MP4/20

Yesterday it was Alonso! Yesterday also Renault had some technical problems! BAR seem to be running trouble-free. The F2005 does not look too bad on pace today:

Well, we've seen they can get one quick lap out of the F2005 - but that was never a problem.

Interesting snippet on JV
http://www.f1racing.net/en/news.php?newsID=82373 Villeneuve was supposed to continue testing for the team today, Thursday, but Sauber engineers requested Felipe Massa to get into the car instead of the former World Champion. Villeneuve's lap times were very inconsistent. If the lap times are inconsistent it is very difficult to work on aerodynamics and thus the engineers requested Felipe Massa to replace Villeneuve," a Sauber spokesperson explained to F1Racing.net |

I was quite surprised to read about the "inconsistent" lap times on different websites

Autosport is exclusively reporting quotes from Villeneuve saying he was not happy with the preparation of the car either.
I think we may have seen the last of him at Sauber. |

Pitpass are reporting that there is nothing sinister about it. Excerpts of the article:
Speaking to *Pitpass*, a Sauber spokesman said that nothing "sinister" should be read into the fact that Jacques Villeneuve only tested at Barcelona for one day. "The objective of our test in Barcelona is to evaluate new aerodynamic components," Hanspeter Brack told *Pitpass*. "Our times were so slow and inconsistent on Wednesday, that the engineers are not certain about the cause. "It was therefore decided to continue the test with Felipe Massa in order to have another reference," he added. For some time there has been speculation that the former World Champion's position with the Swiss team is in serious jeopardy, indeed British magazine, Autosport, recently claimed that the team had held talks with BAR test driver Anthony Davidson . At Bahrain last weekend the Canadian came close to scoring his first point since Monza 2003, until he was hit by David Coulthard in a move missed by the TV cameras. The C24 has been disappointing thus far, despite Massa 's points at Sakhir, and the Canadian, in particular, has voiced frustration at the 'feel' of the car and its lack of pace. |

What a difference a month makes!
Pre season JV was stating things like "Sauber are the only team that respects me" or words to that effect... |

f1_carzy:
Of late the pitpass site seems to have been obsessed with rubbishing Autosport for some reason. I'd take the Villeneuve quotes at Autosport at face value. He is not happy. |

Yes KB, I agree with you;I too remember seeing pitpass snub a few of Autosport articles. Well, ITV F1 are also reporting stuff on JV similar to that of Autosport.

The autosport piece paints a less than happy picture between JV and Sauber - relationship and broken down seem good descriptions.

ITV-F1.com and Autosport-Atlas.com are both owned by Haymarket, so that makes sense. |

Anybody see the interview with Pollock over the weekend? He came across as someone with an extremely difficult job to do.

Which probably means that he didn't like what happened at the test, but that he ain't gonna throw his toys out of the pram. No need to get excited, folks.
